STORE CLERK

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Town Pump is looking for a motivated and outgoing Store Clerk to join our team.  Town Pump is a growing company, with ever-increasing opportunities for career growth.

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">As a Store Clerk team member, you will:

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">-be accountable for excellent customer service, cash handling and accounting, stocking, pricing, rotating, and displaying merchandise, housekeeping inside and outside of the store, store safety and store security, and deli food sales and cooking.

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">-operate the computerized cash register, give correct change, scan credit cards, checks, and bag merchandise.

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">-clean and maintain all areas of the store, with specific attention to the fountain area.

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">-remember regular customers’ names and faces, answer and screen phone calls, police the store, detect shoplifters, and listen and handle customer complaints.

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">-stock shelves and coolers, complete accurate and effective completion of shift work, complete vendor check-in procedures, complete the protocol system and “drive off” controls, and advise the store manager of any situations or policy violations having an adverse effect on store operating performance.

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">-sweep lot, shovel snow, clean gas pumps, fill water/cleaning solution buckets on islands, and complete any other duties assigned by management.

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">-prepare food according to the recipe manual by cutting, measuring, weighing, portioning, peeling, baking, frying, and broasting, while following recipes for accuracy as well as proper food safety and hygiene practices.

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">-clean, sanitize, and maintain work areas and equipment.  Store and label food properly to prevent it from spoiling, and organize and put away food supplies and equipment in their proper places.

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">-keep the hot dog roller, nacho and popcorn machines, condiment center, coffee, and fountain dispenser areas clean, filled, and stocked.

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">-perform all cashier duties in smaller locations as described in the cashier job description.
