FUEL SERVICES HELP DESK TECHNICIAN

 

Summary: This position will serve as a member of the Facilities Team to provide 24 Hour comprehensive maintenance support for all company divisions.  The divisions will include Convenience Stores, Casinos, Car Washes, Hotels, and the Corporate Office.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Respond to facility maintenance requests from all divisions.
  2. Provide technical support to all divisions.
  3. Performs general repair services and order parts.
  4. Issue work orders numbers and input into work order tracking software.
  5. Responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining fuel systems.
  6. Required to carry a cell phone at all times during the 7-day on-call period.
  7. When not on call, will work regular Monday-Friday business hours.
  8. The ability to perform Layer 1 / Physical Troubleshooting on fuel Dispensing and Communications equipment.
  9. The ability to identify trends.
  10. The ability to identify and mitigate environmental and physical risks.

 

NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  1. Other duties as assigned by management
  2. Assist with warehouse duties as needed.
  3. Special projects assigned by Supervisor.
  4. Invoice processing and administrative reporting for Facilities team.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); OR one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

 

ARITHMETICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

 

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

 

REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • State of Montana DEQ Class B or higher Operator License within 3 months of employment.
  • Obtain Gilbarco and or Wayne Fuel Dispensing or Monitoring equipment certifications within 1 year of employment.

OTHER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook)
  • General knowledge of electricity, hydraulics, plumbing, general construction practices, technology processes, and networked devices.
